After breakfast this morning you will be met by your personal guide for a private tour of Corcovado. This half-day tour will take you to visit the
most famous statue in all of Rio, Christ the Redeemer on top of Corcovado mountain. Drive through the exotic Tijuca National Park to reach the
main scenic spot in the city. The view is breathtaking and you are sure to take some unforgettable pictures from this iconic South American peak.
This evening we suggest heading to the fashionable leblon area for dinner at Zuka, a hip restaurant offering Brazilian fusion with a foodie flair. On
the menu is contemporary and sophisticated cuisine prepared in a kitchen designed for patrons to view Chef ludmilla Soeiro create their meals
on the grill. The restaurant also boasts a varied wine list (ask for a recommendation and you may be rewarded with a special South American

swimming session. Present since the first modern Games in 1896, swimming is one of the most popular Summer Games sports with athletes
consistently putting on spectacular performances of strength and endurance, and you will have the opportunity to see the best-of-the-best
compete for gold. After the event, we suggest exploring Rio Olympic Park, which will be buzzing with excitement from the start of the Opening
Ceremonies until the Olympic flame is extinguished.

spectacular crescent of Copacabana beach or check out some of the world-class shopping in the area, before meeting your personal driver
who will transport you to Copacabana Stadium for this evening’s preliminary men’s and Women’s Beach volleyball matches. With its location on
Copacabana Beach, the Copacabana Stadium is sure to be one of the Summer Games most electric venues, and what better sport to see played

After breakfast, you will be met by your personal driver who will transport you to Rio Olympic Arena located in the Olympic Park
for this afternoon’s Artistic Gymnastics session. As with swimming, Gymnastics has been present since the first modern Games in
1896, and puts on display the athletes’ incredible agility and strength. From the beam to the vault, you will find yourself at the edge
of your seat, cheering on these spectacular athletes as they battle for the elusive gold medal.

alone, such as Maracanã Stadium, are attractions in themselves.
With Brazil also playing host to the World Cup in 2014, not only will Rio be the center of the
sporting world leading up to 2016, they will undoubtedly be well-prepared to host the much-
anticipated 2016 Summer Games. Aiming to deliver the greatest sporting event in the world,
preparations for the Rio Games began even before they won the bid to host in 2009. As the first
South American country to host the Summer Games, the stakes are high, and Rio’s version is sure
to impress.

BARRA zONE
located in the west part of the city, affluent Barra is visually stunning. With panoramic mountain
views, aquamarine beaches, and acres of greenspace, Barra’s natural beauty will provide a spectacular
backdrop for the 2016 Summer Games. hosting 20 different disciplines and showcasing half of the
games’ athletes, the Barra Zone will be the center of the action in 2016. Barra is home to both Rio
Olympic Park and the Olympic village and will feature some of the most popular events, including
basketball, diving, and swimming, just to name a few.
COpACABANA zONE
World-famous Copacabana is what many people envision of when they think of Rio; the long stretch of
beach, friendly, fun-loving locals (known as Cariocas), open-air cafes, and lively dance halls ensure there is always something to do at any time of the day (or night)! Copacabana Zone venues include Copacabana
Stadium, which in the summer of 2016 will be filled with enthusiastic beach volleyball fans, lagoa Rodrigo de Freitas for rowing and cayak/canoe sprint, and Fort Copacabana, where thousands of fans will cheer
on their hometown heroes in the rowing competitions. Other notable sports in Copacabana include triathlon, swimming (open water), and cycling.
mARACANÃ zONE
Just North of Copacabana is the maracanã Zone. Close to the city’s downtown core, the area has a promenade and bicycle path, attracting people to the area for both work and play. Site of the opening and
closing ceremonies, maracanã Stadium will also play host to the World Cup Final in 2014. This area also boasts João havelange Stadium and maracanãzinho Arena. Fans of athletics, volleyball, and of course
football, can look forward to spending time in the popular maracanã Zone.
DEODORO zONE
Also in western Rio, and north of the Barra Zone, rests Deodoro. The most rural of all four zones, it offers a more suburban feel, with plenty of green space surrounding the venues, and is popular with younger
Cariocas. Among the many venues in Deodoro are the National Equestrian Center and x Park, which will house Olympic mountain Bike Park, Olympic Whitewater Stadium, and Olympic Bmx Center. As a result,
the summer of 2016 will see Deodoro filled with an interesting blend of equine fans and extreme sports enthusiasts.

receivedbeforefinalpaymentisduearesubjecttoacancellationfeeequaltothedepositpay-
ments.Cancellationsreceivedafterfinalpaymentisduearesubjecttoacancellationfeeequal
to100%ofpackageamount.Alltraveldocuments,ifissued,mustbereturnedtoRoadtripsprior
toanyrefundbeingissued.Refundsshallnotbegivenforunusedtravelservicesoranyportion
thereof.Ifcancellationbyoneormoretravelersalterstheroomrequirementsoftheremaining
travelers,travelersstilltravelingmayberequiredtopayarevisedrate.unlessotherwisestatedin
thepurchaseorder,groupbookingsare100%noncancelableandnonrefundable.
Weregretthatwecannotmakeexceptionsforpersonalemergencies.Werecommendthatyou
considerpurchasingtourcancellationinsurance.Exceptionstothispolicycannotbemadeforany

Anychangestotraveler’sbookingrequestedmorethan60dayspriortoeventdatearesubjectto
a$100administrationfeeperchangemade.Anychangeswithin60daysoftheeventaresubject
tofullcancellationcharges.Re-saleofallRoadtripspackagesisstrictlyprohibitedwithoutthe
expresswrittenconsentofRoadtrips.Permittedre-salesaresubjecttoa15%transferandchanges
feebasedontheoriginalpurchasepriceofthepackage.
DOCumENTATIONANDPERSONAlIDENTIFICATION
Itistheresponsibilityofeachindividualtravelertoobtainthedocumentationrequiredfortheir
tripsuchaspassports,visas,birthcertificatesandphotoidentification.Travelersenteringthe
unitedStatesandCanadaarerequiredtoshowapassportforentry.Thosedeniedatanyborder
willnotbeentitledtoanyrefund.

Traveleragreestoberesponsibleforallincidentalchargesincurredinexcessofthosecoveredby
thepackage.Incidentalchargescanincludefood,beverages,telephoneuse,internetuse,parking
fees,andotherhotelcharges.Allhotelsrequireacreditcardordepositforincidentalchargesat
timeofcheck-in.hotelsexpectdepartinggueststovacateroomsby12noonandarrivinggueststo
check-inlaterthan3pmtoallowforcleaningandmaidservice.hosthotelsdotheirbesttomini-
mizeinconvenienceandstoreluggageifyouarriveearlyorneedtodepartlate.Roadtripsreserves
therighttosubstituteconfirmedhotelswithcomparableaccommodationsateithertheirownor
thehotel’sdiscretion.Accommodationsaresubjecttoavailability.Namesoftravelersstayinginthe
hotelmustbeprovidedtoRoadtrips30dayspriortotravel.latenames,ornamechanges,that
occurinside30daysoftravelwillbechargeda$50.00/roomfee.latenames,ornamechanges,
thatoccurinside14daysoftravelwillbechargeda$75.00/roomfee.
TICkETS
unlessstatedotherwise,Roadtripsisnotanddoesnotholditselfouttobetheofficialticketbox
officefortheeventsinanytravelpackage.uponpaymentofthedeposit,traveleracknowledges
thatRoadtripsoftenpaysapremiumtoobtainticketstosoldouteventsandthatRoadtripsac-
cessesticketsfromavarietyofsourcesthatmayormaynotincludetheofficialticketsaleschan-
nelandsecondaryticketmarketsources.TravelerherebygivespermissiontoRoadtripstouseits
bestjudgmentandexperienceandallavailableticketsourcestoprovidetheticketsincludedinthe
travelpackage.IntheeventthatRoadtripsisnotabletoprovideticketsordered,orareasonably
comparablealternative,Roadtripswillreimbursethetraveleranamountequaltotheamountpaid
bythetravelerfortheticketspurchasedbut notdelivered.Thisreimbursementwillconstitutethe
fullandfinalextentofRoadtripsobligationtothetravelerinrespecttothenon-deliveryandany
lossordamage,directorindirect,arisingtherefrom.
CREDITCARDPAYmENTS
Traveler’sauthorizationtousehiscreditcardnumberfordepositand/orfinalpaymentsindicates
hiscompletecompliancewithourbookingtermsandconditions,whetherornottravelerhas
actuallysignedtheappropriatedraft.verbalauthorizationoftraveler’screditcardconfirms
traveler’sreservation.visa,masterCard,AmericanExpress,Discover,checksandElectronicFunds
Transferareallacceptableformsofpayments.Allpaymentsmadebycheckshouldbemade
payabletoRoadtrips,Inc.Somecreditcardcompaniesmayimposea“ForeignTransactionFee”
eventhoughyourtransactionisdenominatedinu.S.dollars.Thisisanarbitraryfeethatoccursin
asmallnumberofcasesandaccruesentirelytothecreditcard–issuingbank.Roadtripsdoesnot
controlthesebank-imposedfeesnordoesRoadtripsderiveanybenefitfromthem,monetaryor
otherwise;wearethereforeunabletoacceptresponsibilityforthefees.
PAYmENTRulES
Pleaserefertotheeventspecificpaymentschedulesatwww.roadtrips.comand/orinRoadtrips
marketingdocuments.Theinitialdepositpaymentcanbemadebywiretransfer,bankcheck,or
creditcard.Allsubsequentpaymentsof$10,000ormoremustbemadebywiretransfer,bank
check,orpersonalcheck.AllCreditCardpaymentsgreaterthan$10,000.00,withtheexceptionof
theinitialdeposit,aresubjecttoacreditcardprocessingfeeof2.65%.Thisfeecoversourcostsof
processingthesetransactions.latepaymentsaresubjecttoalatepaymentfeeof2.5%ofthetotal
outstandingbalanceoftheinvoice.Thisfeeisautomaticallyassessedatthepointwhereapayment
ispastdue.Paymentsthataremorethan14daysinarrearsaresubjecttoimmediatecancellation
oftheentireinvoicewithnorefund.
AIRlINERESERvATIONSANDChANGES
Roadtripshasnoaffiliationwithanyairline.Anyairlinereservationsdoneonatraveler’sbehalfby
Roadtripsaresubjecttotheapplicableairlinerulesandregulations,changesandcancellationpoli-
cies.Travelerisadvisedtocontacttheirairline12hoursbeforedepartureandagain4to6hoursto
re-confirmdeparturetime.
AFFIlIATION
Roadtripsisnotaffiliatedwithanysportsteam,league,associationororganization,unless
otherwisestated.
JuRISDICTION
ThesetermsandconditionsshallbegovernedbythelawoftheProvinceofmanitobaandof
Canadawhereapplicable.Anydisputesregardingthesetermsandconditionsshallberesolved
exclusivelyinthecourtsoftheProvinceofmanitoba,Canada.
