I have been working with Aluminum industries for the past twenty two years, I spend four years
at Bahrain Atomizer International ‘BAI’ as a project engineer, then I moved to Aluminum Bahrain
‘Alba’ as an electrical/ Instrument engineer in engineering department, later I was promoted to
senior electrical/ Instrument engineer. After working fifteen years as a senior engineer at
engineering department, I transferred to maintenance department in Reduction Services as an
electrical/ Instrument superintendent.
My working style is characterized by a high degree of confidence and confidentiality and by the
use of demanding quality standards, emphasizing planning and monitoring of the areas under

Do have a very good industrial knowledge and experience in both engineering and maintenance
areas, in engineering it includes the complete end-to-end project management, from the initial
concept & budget preparation stages, through to the design, construction, installation,
commissioning & handover to operational management, and as a maintenance superintendent for

Some of the main project handled on Alba during working as a Senior engineer in engineering department
and as a maintenance superintendent in both Casthouse and Reduction Services Plants :-
1. Design, Install, and commissioning of Hot Aluminium Crucible Cleaning Machine ‘STAS’ at
Reduction Services Plant.
2. Design, Install, and commission of two new 20/5 Ton electric overhead cranes.
3. Modify ‘GNA’ Cathode sealing equipment to suit the new enlarged Cathode block.
4. Modify PTA shovel to improve the pot cleaning for enlarged Cathode.
5. Installation and commissioning of Alcan Compact Degasser (ACD).
6. Design, install, and commission GTC-1&2 main silo Fresh Alumina feeding by-pass systems.
7. Upgrade two 6 ton electric overhead cranes at Cathode Sealing Area
8. Modify 16 ton crane to be installed at old STAS Crucible Cleaning Area.
9. Modifications on Properzi continuous casting machine
10. Relocation, Installation, and commissioning of old casting line at Casthouse plant
11. Installation and commissioning of Holding/ Remelt furnaces
12. Involved in re-design Ceramic Foam Filters (CFF), installation and commissioning.

7. Lab Equipment’s.
Senior Electrical/ Instruments Engineer
Working as a part of multidisciplinary engineering group on large, medium and small size projects. Full
responsibility for the electrical & instrumentation project requirements associated with major
equipment’s and facility improvements from conceptual layout/design through specification, contract
negotiation and documentation, installation and commissioning.
