use media technologies in the
construction and research, planning
and evaluation stages?

2. • When I was getting ready to create my video I
used a lot of different online medias to research
into genre's and conventions in similarity to my
music. This was extremely useful when getting
ideas and inspiration from other sources.

3. Soundcloud
When doing my Pre-Production I used ‘Soundcloud’ a lot to get access to loads of
different songs and work done by artists. Its good for seeing new music as artists
posted clips of unfinished songs etc. There are also sometimes links from the songs to a
website for the artist with lots of media and imagery which you can use to find out
more about the artists and their work.

4. YouTube
I used YouTube a lot in the planning and construction stages in my production. It was
the most useful tool when wanting to get new ideas and samples from other artists. It
allows you to view hundreds of different videos and clips from record companies and
the artists themselves.
I think the best feature on YouTube is that when you watch videos on YouTube it saves
the information and makes you a playlist with lots of music ‘Recommended for you’
this allows you to view artists and videos you wouldn’t of been able to see before really
helping to broaden the area you are researching in.

5. Camera used
When doing my production I used a DSLR camera (canon 60D) This was helpful
because of the usability and also the quality you get from these camera’s I think
always looks really good and has a nice finish to it.

6. Construction: Editing
When it came to doing my final production. I used ‘Adobe, Premier Pro’ I really like this
piece of software. It doesn’t only allow me to sync my music with the clips but has a
very friendly user interface which made editing my video really fast and easy.

7. Construction: Photoshop
I used Photoshop in my pre- production and also in my development of my advert and
digi-pack. I have been using Photoshop for the last 2 years for making and editing
photo I really like it and find it practical and easy to use now. Used it to make
important animations within in my video.
