1. Hampton's Job Duties
IN A NUTSHELL I AM RESPONSIBLE FOR ANYTHING
THAT GOES ON OUTSIDE ALL BUILDINGS.
Vehicle Maintenance and repair:
Manage/ schedule Mechanics daily duties
Diagnose all vehicle problems
Schedule repairs in an orderly fashion
Shop for and Order parts from cheapest vendor
Transport cars to and from dealerships
Input all repair orders
Work with CSRs to resolve customer breakdowns/ complaints
Handle safety recalls
Buildings/ Wash Bay Maintenance and repair
Automatic car wash maintenance
Vacuum service
Procure all supplies
Estimator of collisions:
Prepare damage estimates for determination of extent of damage to rental car
Eagle Rider:
Maintenance and repairs on Motorcycles and Mopeds
Body Shop Manager:
Manage/ schedule Mechanics daily duties
Diagnose damages and order body parts and supplies
Shop for and Order parts from cheapest vendor
Maintain repair files
Prepare, review and submit time sheets
Tow Truck Manager:
Keep records of all tow activities
Manage 3 drivers to handle all tow activities
Maintenance of Tow Truck
Order procurement all parts of Merit:
Order/ procure most supplies related to Merit: Garage, Wash Bay, lot,
Fuel Procurement
Oil procurement
All cleaning supplies
2. Rock and Nikki’s Minion:
Any last minute emergencies needed by either party
Commissions:
Wash bay
Eagle Rider
Mechanic
Write contracts when needed:
U-Save/ Fox as well as returns
Eagle Rider
U-Haul as well as assist with hook-up and unhook equipment
Deliver vehicles to outside locations for customers:
(High school, gen av., avcraft, campgrounds) etc.
Repossess vehicles when practical:
Procurement of vehicles to satisfy customer and trades for 501 location:
Work with CSR to satisfy vehicle demand for 501 location
Arrange/ drive vehicles to and from MYR
In-fleeting of new and used vehicles:
Prep all vehicles to be sold/ traded:
Wash/ clean vehicles at 501 and MYR:
Shuttle Customers to and from campgrounds as needed:
Construct/ deconstruct new Businesses:

SIXT in Jacksonville
SIXT in Tampa
SIXT in Charleston, SC
Roadside Assistance: MYR, 501 and Tampa
THIS LIST IS NOT ALL INCLUSIVE AND CHANGES WEEKLY TO HANDLE WHAT IS
NECCESARY TO HELP KEEP VEHICLES ON THE ROAD.
3. 3-11-14 Director of Vehicle Operations
Effective immediately, Hamp Lucas will be deemed the Vehicle Operations
Manager for all of the Merit Companies. Hamp will be responsible for the
following items and the following staff will report to him effective immediately.
Responsibilities to include but not be limited to:
•All outside/exterior operations
•The service facility at the MB Airport, its operation, staff, maintenance, utilities,
schedule, etc.
•The MB Airport lot, its operation, staff, schedule, etc.
•All vehicle maintenance and scheduling
•All accident cars and scheduling
•Preventative Maintenance Tech (PM TECH) and his scheduling and direction
•All turn back cars, auction cars, maintenance cars, body shop cars, new car stock
or any vehicle deemed to be moving from one rental branch to another
•Tampa maintenance scheduling
•Tampa Accident cars and scheduling
•Any other procedure dealing with exterior operations (non-inside/rental
procedures)
•Hamp will schedule all MB Airport Lot personnel, Service personnel, and PM
Tech personnel and then will give to Nikki to be included in the master Myrtle
Beach schedule sent out weekly
New Procedures-
1. All MB turn back vehicles and auction cars are to be parked at 501 location for
inspection before delivery to auctions or marshalling yards. Hamp will be solely
responsible for the keys to these vehicles and these vehicles will not be able to be
rented without his permission.
2. Tampa and/or other locations will be responsible to park those vehicles for
inspection. Hamp will be responsible to inspect all turn back vehicles for oil
changes/damage in non-myrtle beach locations.
3. Hamp will coordinate with Donnie on arranging drivers to move cars to auction
4. Hamp will coordinate with Ryan on moving turn back vehicles or auction
vehicles to proper destination.
