The table-top exercise was designed to assist NGOs to
plan and coordinate logistics following a terrorism
incident. The Train-the-Trainer course taught learners
how to facilitate the table-top exercise.

These courses were designed to incorporate immersive
scenarios to provide an authentic environment with
feedback in the form of newspaper headlines. A timer
created a sense of urgency with visual cues regarding
progress. Learners were provided resources and had to
seek out information as they would in a real disaster
scenario. Learners’ assumptions also were challenged to
                                                         create an opportunity for reflect.

                                                         Employee Relations was designed to
introduce managers of people to the Principle-
                                                         Based Decision Making process regarding
issues with employees at Freddie Mac.
In this Web-based course, I introduced
                                                         scenario-based instruction to provide

                                                         regarding performance.

scenarios that build in depth and complexity to
resolve three different types of issues.
                                                         Each scenario simulates dialogue with
                                                         employees and provides specific feedback
depending on the manager’s answers to
                                                         questions.

              My Role:
I served as instructional designer and developer on this project. I designed the course using
