3. Product Background
•Bangladesh has taken initiatives to export
snake venom, a high-priced product in the
international market since 2007.
•India, Thailand and China earn large amount
of foreign currency through venom exports
and that they had several government and
private-run venom production facilities.
•The project would create employment
opportunities for snake charmers and other
related poor people.
4. With the advancements in medical sciences and
technology, we want to be the first initiator who
takes major initiatives from Sylhet, by exporting
snake venom in other countries trough out the
world.

Code (IEC) from Government of Bangladesh and
are an authorized Government Hospital distributor

Hospital.
5. Mission
Our mission is to bring to the market a
highly effective product range at economical
prices, catering to every section of the
society.
To provide international quality
pharmaceutical and anti
venom products.
6. Manufacturing and Production
The first stage is the
extraction and preparation
of snake venom for
immunizing animals.
For the second stage, there
is the need for countryside
installations in which
animals are maintained and
immunized according to a
prescribed protocol so that
at the end a minimum
required antibody is
obtained in the hyper
immune plasma.
7. In the third stage, the plasma is transported to the
processing plant to obtain the final product.
Quality control actions according to
recommendations of the World Health Organization
[WHO] are included in this stage.
Also, for the whole system, availability of mice and
guinea pigs is needed to carry out the activities of
quality control and snake feeding.
8.
9. Anti venoms are typically produced using a donor
animal, such as a horse or sheep. The donor animal is
hyper immunized with non-lethal doses to produce a
neutralizing antibody response.
Then, at certain intervals, the blood from the donor
animal is collected and neutralizing antibodies are
purified from the blood to produce anti venom.
There is a flow diagram of a production process,
which is given in the following slide.

18. Current Market Situation:
Current market situation represents relevant
back ground data on sales, cost, profit,
market, competitors, distributors and the
total micro and macro environment. The
marketing plan is constructed on the basis of
competitors as well as our new strategies. At
present, the demand of anti-venom product is
very high. So we need to meet our local
demand first. Normally, venom of those
snake can be stored for many days. So, we
can easily preserve them. It is very cost
effective also.
19. Benefits of our plan
It has been estimated snakes annually in Sri Lanka
bite 65000 people & snakebites account for 700-
800 death rates is one of the highest in the world.
These patients rely on local herbal cures due to the
belief in the traditional system, easy access to
traditional physicians, and the ignorance of the
availability of anti venom.
20. We have some plans in near future for the
acknowledgement of these people (of Bangladesh,
India, Sri Lanka, Pakistan) that the provision of a
more effective anti venom produces from local
venom is expected to reduce these deaths
considerably.
It also possible that manufactured from Bangladesh
snakes be exported to India & Sri Lanka.
