• The goal of the project is to support multifunctional
landscapes in the Upper Mekong region by improving
livelihoods and the environment through the
development of biodiversity and carbon assets.

• For this purpose research is carried out at four sites in three
countries of the Upper Mekong for an assessment of existing

• One of the goals of the project is to enhance
multifunctionality as well as biodiversity and carbon assets
through the promotion of carbon and biodiversity markets.
