1. Crawling the Web: The SE uses some programs known as
spiders/crawlers/googlebots to discover new web pages in the Internet
2. Creating an Index: The SE creates an Index. The process lists every page that contains

 Google keyword Analysis Tool:

 Relevance : Your keywords need to be relevant to your business
(products or services) and your website content.
 Find all the keywords related to your website
 Traffic: Internet users must actually search these specific keywords.
 Which keywords people is searching for ?
 Avoid searching keywords that do not bring traffic
 Competition : You need to check out how many other websites (amount)
use your specific keywords and what is the authority of these websites
(strength).
Don’t target keywords that you cannot competing
Search your keyword phrase on Google with quotes and without quotes /
hidemyass.com to search anonymously
 Commerciality : The keywords need to have an interest for sales and
marketing
 Find which keywords value more (cost per click)
 If the CPC is high but the nb of montly researches low => NOK
