I started at Lighthouse Camp Services on the 5th of November 2012 as a Health and Safety Advisor. In June of 2013 I was
promoted to the HSE Managers position where I created the Health and Safety Program were are currently using. Since
I have been in the manager’s position our Health and Safety Program has been audited by the ACSA with an audit score
of 96%; achieving COR certification through the ACSA for Lighthouse Camp Services.
My duties have included:
Maintaining ISNetworld (A,B,A rating)
Creation and review of the HSE Manual
Creation and review of Safe Work Practices and Procedures
Maintaining sub-contractor accounts such as Preventative Maintenance with A1-Services, Suppression System
inspections with Levitt Safety
Attend weekly and bi-weekly meetings with the client Husky Energy and Saipem Canada
Create and implement the Emergency Response Plan for a camp of 1500 people
Creation and implementation of a Food Safety Manual for the kitchen
Orientation of new employees to site
Create and implement a maintenance program for the preventative maintenance of the camps interior

amount of incidents and injuries from the previous year

I was originally hired as a Level 3 First Aid Attendant for Gerry Enns Contracting. Over the first few years, I proved myself to be
a valuable employee and was continuously given more restorability. In 2013 I was provided with a course for
Zoom-Boom Operation. I have since gained over 2000 hours on a Zoom-Boom and at this time still hold a valid Level 1
Zoom-Boom license through Levitt Machinery.
As Genie Lifts were a common piece of machinery, I was provided with the opportunity to become a Genie Lift Trainer. I
have since trained over 20 people on the safe use and inspection of Genie Lifts and Scissor Lifts.
By 2011 I was overseeing works sites from start to finish as a site foreman.
During my time at Gerry Enns Contracting I had the opportunity to take Safety courses for Confined Space and
