What: Meet the local people; learn from us how to Stand Up Paddle and share
the Basque Culture and Gastronomy in one of the best towns of the Basque coast.
Why: Since 2006 the river of Zumaia and some of their closest waters has
become a perfect feature for training, learning and teaching water sports, for locals
and visitors. Now in 2011 we want to invite you to share our aloha and ongi etorri
spirit with you and your friends.
When: September 18-24/October 16-22.
Who: Come and learn with the sup pioneers and leaders in sup activities in the
Basque Country. Recognized 5 years of experience in all SUP divisions: surf, downwind,
down river, yoga-sup, and “gondolin therapy”. Learn how-to-sup in a Basque-Hawaiian
Style with the first official SUP CENTER sponsored by C4WATERMAN, and get to know
the area, the Basque people, their culture, gastronomy and traditions by the hand of
Gorilla Trip.
Where: Came and stay one week at our guest house in Zumaia. Visit Bilbao, San
Sebastian and paddle in the waters of the first Geopark of the Basque Country.

Country; we teach surf and shape boards since 20 years ago. Since 2006 we started
learning and teaching how to SUP and now we are the only School and Sup center with

The Flych Geopark
Geoparks are areas that opt for an innovative strategy of sustainable development
based on natural and cultural values. The Basque Coast Geopark, the first in the
Basque Country and around the Bay of Biscay, was born with the spirit of
implementing these ideas in the municipalities of Zumaia, Deba and Mutriku.
Geopark aims of the Basque Coast and start a path to reconnect the people of the
territory's natural and cultural heritage. Therefore, we work to value the natural
environment, especially the geological environment, but also the culture of our
country. We want this heritage survives as a legacy for future generations.
Similarly, the Geopark aims to make participation of its identity, so that ideas and
proposals are welcome.
The guest house
This local charming place will be our base camp for all the activities while on your stay
with us. Provided with all the facilities as kitchen, dining room, TV lounge, private
