8. OPPORTUNITIES
Sponsor Lounge - 20’ x 20’ space provided. Sponsor may include furniture for seating areas, a beverage
center, décor elements as desired to create displays and the lifestyle image the product reflects, staffing in
branded attire for product demonstrations, sampling. Décor and operation of the Lounge is the responsibility of
sponsor. 20 amps of power and daily clean-up will be provided. Décor and staffing assistance available upon
request.
International Designer Showcase - Sponsor may host one of the international designer showcases featuring
some of the top emerging designers in the word today. Logo placement and video presentation will start the
show. Sampling and gift bags may be provided to guests at the show. Specific showcase to be determined
with event management.
VIP Backstage Meet & Greet – Sponsor’s VIP guests able to meet the designers preparing for the sponsored
showcase.
Designer Awards - Sponsor may host one of the designer awards shows at the Miami Moda & Music Awards
on closing night.
Music Performance - Sponsor may host an internationally known recording artist’s performance at the Miami
Moda & Music Awards. Artist will be presented with the Celebrity Style in Music Award.
Ticket Sweepstakes - Sponsor may host a sweepstakes or ticket give-away contest with tickets provided.
International Culinary Arts Pavilion (ICAP) - Sponsor will receive tickets for each night to the International
Culinary Arts Pavilion (ICAP) featuring a different local celebrity chef each night. Each chef creates a 3-course
tasting menu based on the country of the designers that are showing that evening.
On-Line Activities – Sponsor logo, banner ad and link added to the MIFW web site. Sponsor promoted on
MIFW’s Twitter, Facebook, A Small World pages, MIFW blog and in newsletters to international database of
fashion designers, models, VIP guests and celebrities.
Media Ads - Inclusion in event marketing and full page color ads with media partners (deadlines pending).
Product Placement - Product placement in event gift bags at the closing Miami Moda & Music Awards.
Official After Party - Hosting of one official after party during MIFW.
Educational Seminar - Hosting of and educational seminar on trends and retail or US business matters.
Private VIP – Sponsor Private cocktail or dinner with select VIP guests and honorees.
9. Kick-Off Party and Fundraising Event
January 28, 2010
Miami International Fashion Week Foundation, Tiffany and Sponsor co-host the Official 2010 Kick-
Off Party for the 12th annual event.
The party will include a fashion show with Miami’s top student, emerging and established fashion
designers, a silent auction, a chef’s tasting, champagne, wine and cocktails and the announcement
of the recipients of the 2010 Miami Fashion Week Foundation Humanitarian Award chosen from
Miami’s most prestigious philanthropic community to honor those who give so much of their time and
resources back to making Miami a better place to live.
Sponsor’s participation includes:
50 tickets to the kick-off party
Co-Sponsorship of the fashion show
Corporate introduction and announcement of sponsors planned activities at MIFW
Sponsors gift bags for 400+ invited VIP guests
