She

Wearable
Technology
in
the
Department
of

Studies
at
OCADU
and
at
Interaccess
Media
Arts
Centre,
and
works
as
a
researcher
at
OCADU’s
‘Social
Body
Lab’.
She
has

for

Arduino is an open-source microcontroller board
designed to make the process of using electronics in
multidisciplinary projects more accessible.
What’s with the funny name?
It’s an Italian male name!
4. What the Heck is a Microcontroller?
A microcontroller is small computer on a single
integrated circuit containing a processor core, memory,
and programmable input/output peripherals.
Microcontrollers make it easy to digitally control devices
and processes with greater ease and less space than
straight analog functionality.

There are many different kinds of Arduinos to meet the
varied needs of artists, designers and hobbiests.
There are big Arduinos (Arduino Mega), small
Arduinos (Arduino Mini), slim Arduinos (Arduino Fio),

Arduinos (Arduino Uno, Leonardo).
