This document summarizes a project by students from P.U. Middle School in Tamil Nadu, India to create a plastic-free zone in their village. The students identified plastic and polythene waste around the school and village and conducted awareness campaigns to educate villagers about the problems of plastic pollution. They provided alternatives like paper plates and cloth bags. They saw reductions in plastic usage and waste in the area. The students feel confident they can make their environment plastic-free and continue their awareness efforts through demonstrations and posters.

 Giving the paper mouldings such as paper plate, paper
baskets, paper bowl and jute bags, paper bags cloth bags to
the village people for shopping.

RECOVER
To minimize the environmental pollution.
