5. ProsPros
● Most of this offline presentation softwares are
free. OpenOffice is one of them.
● You can create presentations without an
Internet connection.
● You can save your progress anytime you want
without worrying that the Internet will go down.
6. Cons
● You can only access to the presentations you
have made on the computer where you have
created them.
● These presentations occupy space in your hard
disk.
● If you have to format your pc you will loose the
presentation.
8. ● Prezi is a Hungarian software company, producing a

which allows users to zoom in and out of their
presentation media.
● Prezi was officially established in 2009.
● Prezi is developed in Adobe Flash and Adobe AIR and

9. Pros and Cons of using
online websites (like

presentations
10. Pros
● You can access anywhere to your
presentations.
● You can share them easily with your friends,
teachers, etc. This websites usually include
direct buttons to share your work by email.
● The presentation is stored in an online cloud so
you wont loose it in case your format your
presentation.
11. Cons
● You need an Internet connection otherwise you
can't access to the presentation.
● If you forget your ID or password you won't be
able to access to your presentations.
● The Internet connection may go down and you
may not be able to save your progress.
12. Final Opinion
● If you need reliable software to make a simple,
but very good presentation and you don't have
an Internet connection you can use a program
like OpenOffice.
● On the other hand, if you want to experience
with something new, and you work on many
computers at a time you can use Prezi.
● A good thing about both programs is that they
are free.
13. My Opinion
● Personally I prefer to use OpenOffice. I think it
is more reliable beacause you don't need
Internet to make your presentations. Also if I
want to see my presentations on another
computer I can always put them on a memory
stick. I think it is easier to use than Prezi. The
only thing I like about Prezi is that it has more
features than OpenOffice. You can add videos
and background music.
