 We are trying to find the best app for:
• Smart Cities
• Smart Businesses/Industry
 Launched end of October 2013
 600+ teams (individuals, startups, SMEs)
applied to the challenges (ES, EN)
 40 teams (20 per challenge) received a
prize of 2800 € … qualifying for the finals !
 Don’t miss the final in CPBR 14
• 1st, 2nd, 3rd prize: 75 K€, 40 K€, 20 K€
• Best young developer: 5 K€

 Smart Society challenge: best app which can
bring a relevant benefit for the society:
inclusion, education, well-being, …

 FI-WARE Excellence challenge: application
that makes better use of FI-WARE technologies
• Those running the other 3 challenges who get a
score higher than 7 in the final will qualify for the
final of the FI-WARE Excellence challenge
• You may apply even if not participating in the rest
of the challenges: just show us what you can do
with FI-WARE technologies !
• Best app overall: 24 K€
• Best app in category (IoT, Robotics, Real-time
Data, BigData, User Interface, Security): 8,5 K€
