Leftover food from Banquet/Coffee shop buffets is reused
when possible or served in the Ecorest. Throwing a pan full of
food in the bin is always the last option.
Burnt oil is collected and sold as scrap to recycling units.
Promotional materials are made out of 50-75% post consumer
paper .
Hand Made paper bags are given for Parcels.
Hangers, utility trays, sugar pot cover made up of
sawdust.

20. ENERGY EFFICIENCY
The Hot Discharged Gas Of The Compressor Is Utilized For Heating The
Water At 50 Degree C. Before It Enters The Condensers. This Process
Eliminates The Requirement Of Boilers. (Hot Water Production)
Screw Chiller 70 Tons And 56 Tons.
Capacitor Bank --- We Are Maintaining The Power Factor At 0.97 .To
0.99 Thereby Saving On Electrical Bill.
Natural Light Is Used During The Day Operation.
Use Of CFL Lamps To Reduce The Consumptions.
All Electrical And Electronic Equipments Are Switched Off When Not In

22. ENVIRONMENTAL
COMMITMENTS
We encourage our guest to participate in our environmental endeavors
through the use of Eco button and S.0.P card among the guest.
Use of Pumped natural gas as primary fuel source.
Conscious effort is made to promote the use of Organic ingredients. In fact
the Organic Herbs and vegetables grown in our Herb Garden were regularly
used in RODAS kitchen and now we will be developing a new herb garden.
Herbal toiletries are used which are colourless & with minimum fragrance.
Herbal pest controlling is done.
Avoid use of harmful chemicals/aerosol, cleaners. All detergents used have
very low/ neutral ph value.

Eco Ganesh has become an Annual Event at Rodas along with regular
