The first quarter seasons of the year Summer, Kermit, Bega and winter are the first quarter seasons of the year. The first two seasons (Summer and Kermit ) recur in north temperate and tropic; when the next two seasons (Bega and winter ) do in the south tropic and temperate respectively. The period of Kermit is symmetrical to Bega as summer does to winter. The coverage of the first quarter season is about 94 days. End of June 21 is the beginning and September 23 is the ending points of the first quarter season in the temperates, when end of Sene 14 is the beginning and Meskeram 13 is the ending points of the first quarter season in the tropics. There are two seasons of the first quarter in the temperates. One is the season of north temperate and the other is the season of south temperate. It is natural tendency to have two seasons of the first quarter year in the tropics. One is the season of north tropic and the other is the season of south tropic. The names of these two seasons of the first quarter year are called summer and winter in north and south temperates respectively. However, names of these two seasons of the first quarter in the tropics seem to be unknown. Nevertheless, in Ethiopia there are four seasons observed and termed as Kermit, Metsew, Bega and Tsedey. The name of Kermit is the first quarter season in the north tropic. It is natural tendency that the name of Bega is to be the first quarter season in the south tropic. There are three justifications that persuaded me to make this discovery and rediscovery. i. The truth of summer of north temperate is symmetrical to winter of south temperate in the first quarter year, ii. Why two countries such as Ethiopia of the first quadrant and Brazil of the third quadrant tropics do produce identical product which is called coffee?, and iii. Different variations of day and night and seasons which are independently recurred in the tropics and temperates are not events of man made.
