1. ISLAM:
Islam is the complete code of life it guide us in all walks of life regarding education it provide detail
guidance about different component or elements of education. The system of teaching, preaching
prayers, faith, deeds and acts are directly related to the five basic pillars of Islam.
Islamic Philosophical concepts:
Ontology (concept of reality)
 Concept of GOD
Almighty ALLAH is the ultimate reality. ALLAH is one and only one he is creator of all the universe. He
is lord of east-west and north-south. Everything begins by his will and will return to him. He is
ultimate reality the truth of which may not gain by men. He is one who can be worship. He is all
knowing, living ever lasting
 Concept of universe
This is temporary world ,it is less important than the wing of mosquito. It is a source of preparation
for the life here after this life is like a test-center.
 Concept of Man
Man is the best of all creators he is khalifa of ALLAH on earth. He is more knowledgeable than angles.
Epistemology (concept of knowledge)
Knowledge is necessary for all muslims men and women, seeking knowledge is the duty of every
muslim. All sources of knowledge are recommended if they are inconsistent with and not clash with
the teaching of QURAN and SUNNAT.
Axiology (concept of values)
Values are universal and permanent. Spiritual values are regarded more important than material piety
(takwa), brotherhood, honesty consideration for others etc. are the important values. Values maybe
spiritual or material but spiritual values govern the material values. Beauty is appreciated but
realbeauty is the inner beauty inner beauty gives more than apparent.
