Good evening. My name is Ethan Chazin. I’d like to thank Melissa for inviting me to talk with you about the importance of becoming a leader, and the types of skills that are needed to succeed in today’s workforce by applying what you learn in this program with other business survival skills. Before I go over the agenda for this evening’s presentation, I would like to provide you with some background about myself. I have spent the past 20 years working in the private sector, in a wide range of industries in sales and marketing capacities, before establishing my own employment consulting business. As a recruiter, I have helped more than 7,000 people find employment, including students at many academic institutions. Throughout my career, I have been blessed with having the opportunity to work for many different leaders including women of color. I have developed a keen appreciation for what it takes to lead in today’s increasingly complex and volatile global economy and business world. I have a certain appreciation for, and unique perspective on, what it will take you to find employment after you graduate. So, let us begin now by going over the topics that I will be addressing this evening.
What makes a leader great? Margaret Meade famous anthropologist. Read these quotes…Elaine Agather, CEO of J.P. Morgan Chase-Dallas
