The Indian equity market slipped lower for the third consecutive trading session on Wednesday. A sudden bout of selling pressure towards the end yet again dragged the indices to close near day’s low. Nifty has now declined over 3% in the past three days.

 The Indian equity market slipped lower for the third consecutive trading session on Wednesday. A sudden bout of
selling pressure towards the end yet again dragged the indices to close near day’s low. Nifty has now declined over
3% in the past three days.
 Finally, the NSE Nifty ended with a loss of 94 points to close at 7,362. It has opened at 7,392 hitting a high of 7,419
and low of 7,350. Sensex ended with a loss of 316 points and closed at 24,222. It opened at 24,394, touched an intra-
day high of 24,409 and low of 24,214.
 Post a gap down opening, the Nifty continued to remain under pressure throughout the day. It finally ended another
94 points lower. Nifty futures settled at a premium of 22 point. India VIX rose 3.1% to 18.6
 FIIs sold 357 crore while DIIs sold 145 crore in the cash segment. FIIs sold 352 crore in index futures and bought 472
crore in index options. In stock futures, they sold 296 crore
 The highest Put base is seen at the 7400 strike with 40 lakh shares while the highest Call base is at the 7600 strike
with 45 lakh shares. The 7300 and 7400 Call strikes saw additions of 2.7 and 8.4 lakh shares, respectively. The 7100
and 7000 Put strikes saw additions of 4.05 and 1.8 lakh shares, respectively
 Nifty Future: The Nifty is likely to open gap up on the back of strong global cues. It is likely to trade in the range of
7350-7460. Buy Nifty in the range of 7375-7385 for targets of 7415-7435, stop loss: 7360
 Bank Nifty Future: For the third day in a row, the index saw short formation. However, addition was seen in ATM
Put followed by 14500 strike. We may see a bounce in the index but shorts can be formed if it violates Wednesday’s
low. Sell Bank Nifty in range of 14750-14800, targets: 14650-14550, stop loss: 14900
