The Indian stock market showed signs of resilience for second consecutive trading session on Tuesday as benchmarks surged higher. Nifty surpassed the 8100 mark while the BSE Sensex ended above the 26, 500 mark.

 The Indian stock market showed signs of resilience for second consecutive trading session on Tuesday as benchmarks
surged higher. Nifty surpassed the 8100 mark while the BSE Sensex ended above the 26, 500 mark.
 Finally, the BSE Sensex ended with a gain of 122 points at 26,524.55. The BSE Sensex opened at 26,411 touched an
intra-day high of 26,583 and low of 26,378. The NSE Nifty closed with a gain of 33 points at 8,128. The NSE Nifty
opened at 8,096 hitting a high of 8,146 and low of 8,108
 Post a flat start, the Nifty remained in a tight band for a major part of the day. Towards the end, it ended 35 points
higher. Nifty futures closed at a premium of 8 points. India VIX fell 4.4% to 17.7.
 FIIs sold 792 crore in index futures and bought 1404 crore in index options. In stock futures, they sold 309 crore.
 The highest Put base is at the 8000 strike with 72 lakh shares while the highest Call base is at the 8300 strike with 60
lakh shares. The 8200 and 8300 Call strikes added 5.7 and 5.1 lakh shares, respectively, while the 8000 Put strikes
added 8.0 lakh lakh shares.
 Nifty Future: The Nifty is likely to open positive on the back of strong global cues. It is likely to trade in the range of
8085-8180. Buy Nifty in the range of 8110-8120 for targets of 8150-8170, stop loss: 8095.
 Bank Nifty Future: The banking index was able to move above 17500 as the private sector banking space saw a surge
in the second half of the session. The next major hurdle can be considered near 18000. Declines can be used as a buy-
ing opportunity till it holds above 17400. Buy Bank Nifty in the range of 17500-17550, targets: 17600-17700, stop loss:
