2. Location Image Description
Trinity Academy Halifax (Sixth Form)
The shot will show both the actual school then
the sixth form building to show the scale of the
school.
The chosen location is the outside of the Trinity
Academy Halifax Sixth Form building .This location will
only appear once and this will be for the establishing
shot for the opening. This will be recorded at day time
after the school has ended. The shot will show the
entire building from a distance (Establishing shot) and
will slowly zoom in. Due to the time of filming in winter
the shot will have to be filmed even earlier on due to it
getting darker later. The location is very open and is
normally clear except from a few student s it will
create a good establishing shot. Another problem may
be the time of filming it may snow or rain which I could
work into the opening .This scene will only take a few
seconds to film as it is only an establishing shot
however the weather can still effect this. My ideal
weather is clear however snow will be alright if there is
snow as it will also fit in with the theme of the film
however this may complicate things.

3. Location Image Description
Trinity Academy Halifax (Sixth Form) Hallway The chosen location is the hallway of the sixth form
building. This will be used for a small part of the film
where the scared student will walk down the hallway
towards the stars at the end of the hallway this is
where the main part of the opening will take place .It
will be recorded at day time as if it was recorded at
night it would not fit the theme of a school. The
daylight will also add extra light which will be good for
filming. However due to it getting dark earlier in the
winter we may have to record earlier to prevent it
being too dark. However I will want it slightly dark so
that the theme is not happy but is dull. There is are
very few issues with this location one being that there
may be students walking past this will not greatly
affect the filming but could slow down the filming
process. The noise of the classrooms may also be a
problem however one of my ideas will make the
opening quiet with only a creepy music playing in the
background so the noise may not affect the filming. I
will also be able to edit the sound out during the
editing process so it will not be a big problem.

4. Location Image Description
Trinity Academy Halifax (Sixth Form)Stairs The chosen location is the stairs at the end of the
hallway. This will used for the main part of the opening
sequence .The main fight scene will take place here as
well as where the scared student is killed on the stairs.
Like all the other shots it will be recorded at day but
not too late on as it will get dark earlier. However I
want a dismal colour to fit with the theme of the film.
Due to it getting darker we may have to film slightly
earlier to prevent it from being too dark although it
will not be important in many scenes as it will only be
visible through the windows .There is are very few
issues with this location one being that there may be
students walking past this will not greatly affect the
filming but could slow down the filming process this is
why we will have to film as much as possible as fast as
we can to stop us from getting behind. The stairs at the
end of the corridor are normally not loud due to the
doors separating them from the hallway. This means
that any unwanted sound shouldn’t be a problem
during filming.
