enabled us to grow into one of the world’s leading maritime carriers.

In December 2009, Hanjin Shipping Holdings was launched, with Hanjin
Shipping as its ocean transportation subsidiary. This transformation reflected
Hanjin Shipping’s vision and commitment to provide the best customer service.

Today, 99% of global trade is done via ocean transportation, making our service
the pulse of global trade. As the top global transportation provider, Hanjin
Shipping is looking beyond the ocean carrier business, and is expanding the

Our 13 dedicated container terminals operating at major ports
around the world ensure the efficient and safe stevedoring
services of your cargo. After opening Total Terminal International
Algeciras, Spain in 2010, our services now extend to the African
continent. Busan New Port, now equipped with cutting-edge
gantry cranes that can lift up to 100 tons, is emerging as the
logistics hub for Northeast Asia. Hanjin Shipping anticipates
its newest dedicated terminal to be completed in Jacksonville,
Florida in 2017, which will open up more possibilities to North,
