This presentation appears in the context of a PhD research project and has as its object the concept of transmedia storytelling. Constituting a first reflection based on the literature review, we propose here to define the concept, describe some experiences that help with understanding the concept and, as well, showing the potential of this approach for the development of new teaching scenarios. The goal is to understand how transmedia narratives may contribute to the innovation of the pedagogical practices and change reality in order to make the school a more meaningful, innovative and entrepreneurial space. This technique, of telling and delving into stories, uses tools such as Web 2.0 and is already being widely used for movies, television and advertising, and also recently has began to be applied to education.
