and videos) that present a background to the case

3. THE MODULE
Step 1: Identify the Environmental Management Principles
• Examples include: Avoid, facilitate, account, enable, disclose,
punish, enhance, mobilize, compensate, conserve, mitigate,
enforce, allocate, share, remediate, contribute, minimize, protect,
monitor, trade
• Decide the driver principle and the supporting principles
4. THE MODULE
Step 4: Write a Narrative
• The narrative should have the following components
– A background to the case capturing the environmental principles
– The main narrative introducing the various resources, asking the
students to read/watch them and describing how the resource fits into
the case
5. THE MODULE
Step 5: Prepare Discussion and Assignment Questions
• The discussion and assignment questions should be of the following
type:
1. Knowledge-based Question : Should test whether the student has
grasped the broader facts surrounding the case
2. Analysis- based Question: Should test whether the student can
analyze the pros and cons of the management decisions taken by
various stakeholders in the case and whether the student can come
up with alternate scenarios and how, in hindsight, the better
decisions could have been taken
3. Application-based Question: Find another case study where a similar
principle has been applied and give a critique on it
