APPROACH
>>>>>>>>>

  The training course will be based on the specific needs of the participants and their organisations and
  will be highly participatory. Diversity, e.g. in the group of participants, will be considered as a resource for the
  building-up and transfer of competences. There will only be few frontal lectures, the main part of the training
  course will be delivered in the form of practical sessions implemented by the participants in a learning-
  by-doing fashion. The trainers will take care of creating a supportive and safe learning environment,
  where participants are encouraged and coached while mastering challenges that contribute to their
  personal, professional and organisational development. Special attention is paid to making the learning
  points of the training course relevant, sustainable and transferable, eg by giving ample room for reflection
  and assessment, by producing exhaustive documentation and by providing templates and guidance for tailor-
  made development and action plans.

  All partner organizations in this training course must meet the following criteria:

         „„ you work (among other) with and for youth

         „„ you work for the benefit of society

         „„ you share, promote and live European values, especially solidarity, respect, human rights, intercultural dia-
            logue, unity in diversity, cohesion, inclusion and participation
         „„ you have a strong local and/or transnational dimesion in your projects

         „„ you commit yourself to full participation in all stages of the project

         „„ you are situated in any of the following countries: EU member staty or Croatia, Iceland, Liechtenstein,
            Norway, Switzerland, Turkey

PROFILE OF PARTICIPANTS

  All participants in this training course must meet the following criteria:

         „„ you are actively involved in your organisation

         „„ you are able to attend for the full duration of the event and to fully communicate in English

         „„ you do not mind becoming part of the community of ”wizzards, geeks, masters and nerds” :-)

         „„ you are in a position and willing to follow-up on the outcomes of this training course in your organisa-
            tion via active youth work

CONDITIONS AND ARRANGEMENTS
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

  The training course is scheduled to take place from January 21th -29th in Crete, Greece. Financial support is
  sought for at the Greek National Agency for the European Commission’s programme “Youth in Action” (action 4.3).
  If the funding requests get approved, we will be able to offer the following conditions:
         „„ the international travel costs are covered with 70%, up to a reasonable maximum amount.
         „„ board, lodging, visa costs, local transports, all materials and the content of the training course are fully covered
             for a participation fee of EUR 50.
         „„ you are in charge of arranging your own insurance for your travel and stay in Greece.

  The deadline for receiving this electronic form from you is Wednesday, April 25th of 2012. Please make sure

  to this training course, as it will be one of the main criteria for the selection of partner organisations, as well as the
  basis to fine-tune the objectives, content and approach of the training course to YOUR specific needs and realities.

  The selected organisations will be notified on April 27th and will be requested to duly sign a “partnership agree-
  ment”, which needs to be sent back to us immediately by e-mail and regular mail (deadline for e-mail = April 30th).

  • 2. >>>>>>>>> APPROACH >>>>>>>>> The training course will be based on the specific needs of the participants and their organisations and will be highly participatory. Diversity, e.g. in the group of participants, will be considered as a resource for the building-up and transfer of competences. There will only be few frontal lectures, the main part of the training course will be delivered in the form of practical sessions implemented by the participants in a learning- by-doing fashion. The trainers will take care of creating a supportive and safe learning environment, where participants are encouraged and coached while mastering challenges that contribute to their personal, professional and organisational development. Financial support is sought for at the Greek National Agency for the European Commission’s programme “Youth in Action” (action 4.3).
