It has over 16 square meters of public green space per inhabitant, extensive coastal recovery projects, and various parks along the coastline. 3) Gijón is working to improve mobility and transportation within the city. It has established public electric vehicle charging stations, a bike sharing program, promotes use of public buses, and holds driver efficiency courses.
