• RGIP is spread across 3 villages – Hinjewadi,
Mann and Marunje – close to Mumbai-Pune

and MIDC as an alternative to PMPML
• Transport Commissioner of Maharashtra State
has authorized HIA-MIDC to carry common bus
fleet for employees of HIA member companies
under Contract Carriage License
• Pilot for non-std timing on selected 4 routes
• Scalable model. Target to ramp-up to 31 routes
and 1000 + buses in 2 years
• Target audience during Pilot - 2 wheeler and 4
wheeler
• No impact on current bus Vendors

• Improved Frequency – bus every 30 minutes
• Flexible timing
• Convenient nodal pick up points
• Basic amenities in a bus including safety and
security – GPRS, CCTV, Smart Card
• Differential Pricing for bus pass based on
short, medium and long distance
