Rinsing additive – corrosion inhibitor
The corrosion protection concentrate DI -CORE contains no chelating agents and is free of
heavy metals.
DI -CORE is a slightly alkaline corrosion protection system that results in conjunction with
galvanized and passivated surfaces to a significant increase in corrosion resistance .
The very low concentration ratio and the low operating temperature ( RT) allow a very
efficient operation of the system. The highly concentrated and extremely stable drug
combination also very short treatment times are possible. The working in the alkaline range
solution is largely insensitive to the introduction of the substances commonly used in
passivation .
The pH must be monitored and must not fall below pH 7 , since otherwise the precipitation
and the corrosion protective effect is no longer guaranteed .
The information sheet is based on laboratory and practical experience. Replenishment
quantities and control limits as a function of material type and geometry , their application
and the investment necessary will differ from those described in these operating instructions ,
these are non-binding information.

Important note!

and P phrases on the packaging labels. The minimum life of the additives is 12 months. The
production date is the batch number can be seen. The last 6 digits of the batch number
represent the production date
For the storage of chemical products under the Hazardous Substances Regulation must be
observed. The Dangerous Goods Regulation (ADR / ADR) has only valid for transportation
and may not be used for storage.

2.1.1 DI-CORE
DI-core is an organic-inorganic product, which diffuses into the capillaries of the passivation
layers by osmotic effects, and seals during drying. This allows a much higher resistance in the
SST can be achieved than with conventional polymeric seals. Simultaneously, a polymer-like
outer layer is produced on the passivated layer, which gives the parts an attractive appearance.
NOTE: The product is sensitive to frost!
2.2 MAKE UP PROCEDURE FOR 100 L
add 10kg of DI-CORE to emptied and cleaned tank (It is a must to keep the sequence!)
add water till endvolume
Mix (NO air agitation!), control pH-value (>7,0), Correct with dilutet NaOH (Ammonia) to pH >7
Note:
Due to the very different water qualities in the plants, especially the hardness, recommended
deionized water is to be used for the approach, otherwise hard water stains can form on the
parts during drying in pendency of the Ca concentration. A negative effect on the corrosion
protection is not known to us.

2.4 Consumption
The consumption is mainly caused by drag-out. The concentration can be tested by analysis.
2.5 MAINTENANCE AND CARE
The make-up has to be monitored regularly. Filtration of the bath is not needed. The pH shall
not be less than 7. The concentration of DI-CORE must not fall below the value of 5%,
otherwise the particle storage is no longer sufficient, and the corrosion-protective effect is no
longer present.
