From 7/09 to 11/09 I workedasa TA on the PENNDOTSRO 210 projectinBradford,PA. Duties included
overseeingthe contractoras he performeddailyconstructiontasks. Readingandunderstanding project
prints, plans and standards. I was responsible for assuring the proper placement of drainage pipe,
bituminous materials, concrete, guide rail and earthwork throughout the project.
From 3/10 to 8/10 – The same duties as previous season were performed however; my position was
promoted to a TA2.
Computations for all completed work were compiled daily and contractors were paid accordingly.
Demolition of bridge structures, bridge rehab, placement of concrete in back walls, cheek walls,
abutments, approaches, slip form barrier, curb and gutter, concrete box beam deck placement,
witnessed and performed concrete air and slump test, cylinder moldings, steel girder structure
placement,pull test,bolttorque test,hydrodemolition,latex overlay of bridge decks and calibration of
latex trucks. Also had limited experience in overseeing traffic signal, highway lighting and fiber
interconnect operations.
