justice, social work, and human rights
Social Justice: Social workers challenge social injustice by helping student
talk to school administrators ands counselors
Service: Social worker’s primary goal is to help people in need and to
address social problems - to help student with resources such as parenting
classes for teens.
Importance of Human relationship: Social workers recognize the central
importance of human relationships - by understanding all clients are different
but equal.
Dignity and worth: Social workers respect the dignity and worth of person -
by social workers doing this, they develop a trusting relationship with clients.
Integrity: Social workers behave in a trust worthy manner - when social
workers say they will help students, they follow through
Competence: Social workers practice within their areas of competence and
develop and enhance their professional expertise while working with teens.
