Medical Camp report of Rishilpi Development Project in the flood affected area of Tala Upazilla under Satkhira district in Bangladesh.

1. Emergency Medical Camp For the flood affected people September 21,2011 Islamkathi and Magura Talaupazilla, Satkhira

2. Voice from Magura Village I am living at roadside shelter and survive my life with the help of others. My small hut already have washed away and I am completely now homeless. I am suffering many sickness and need medicine everyday but I’m not able to pay it. Many old persons are suffering here, and they need same support from Rishilpi

3. Rishilpi Health Programme has organized Emergency medical camp to serve the sick and helpless people at flood affected area providing treatment with necessary medicines. The medical camp began from 12 August 2011 and working continuously.

4. Agriculture fields of Magura under Tala is now like the sea. Rishilpi Emergency Medical Camp for flood victims Two medical team have organized two camp at Islamkathi and Magura Village of TalaUpazilla under Satkhira district and emergency medicines has been provided to the flood affected sick people. The team also taught the people how to prevent the water born diseases

5. Mud made house washed away Objective of the Emergency Medical Camp Provide medical support to the flood affected sick people with love and compassion to reduce their sufferings caused by water born diseases and prevent the diseases as well.

7. Diseases treated During medical camp we have documented the patient's history and medicine records that have been distributed to the the people. As of record/client register we have found the following diseases in the flood affected were treated: dysentery, diarrhea, Pneumonia, fever with common cold, scabies and other skin diseases.
