Project Title : ARINC 661 GRAPHICS SERVER
Programs/Customer: EDS, (King Air), Proline Fusion (Bombardier) , C-Series , A350 (Airbus)
Project description:
The AGS is a product line software library. The AGS acts as the graphics server in a display system, providing a means for
User Applications to interface with a display head through a well-defined interface. In a display system, any number of
the User Applications can act as clients to the AGS. One such User Application is the controlling application mentioned
above; any number of additional User Applications can provide display data to the AGS through by exchanging ARINC
661 run-time messages. The ARINC-661 Graphics Server (AGS) software has the purpose of rendering display formats
based on input it receives from a variety of User Applications (UA). The AGS software also provides the User
Applications with information about events generated from interactive display formats, such as cursor clicks.
Client : King Air, Bombardier
Duration : Nov2012 to Present
Technology : C++, OOP, Design Patterns.
Operating System : Windows and Lynxos-178 RTOS.
2. Tools : SVN, DOORS, PREP, Microsoft Visual Studio, AGST, AGS Test Suit Suite,ClearQuest.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Understanding and analyzing the Low Level System and High Level Software Requirements for the graphics
library.
Worked in fixing bugs and issues for undesired behavior of the widgets.
Solid debugging skills in Microsoft Visual Studio for fixing bugs and issues.
Used Singleton and Factory Design pattern in designing the software library.
Extensive use of Polymorphism in implementing the graphics library used a lot of pure virtual functions and
virtual functions.
