Being in the industry for 8 years of experience, Deyuan has
knowledge in BIM Collaboration in different software
He has strong documentation, detailing (concrete/steel), BIM
modelling and advanced Revit family modelling skills.
And skills like geometry modelling and parametric tools
grasshopper (Rhino), GC, Vesari (Revit family), used different add-
in for Revit to shorten work-flow.
Additional skills including clash detection, 4D (timeline
simulation), rendering, walkthrough, video creation and Scheduling
to extract information from model for better understanding to other

 Aurum Senior Living Design, Shanghai – Involved in
main BIM lead and providing BIM model for QS
quantities, GFA calculation, options for facade type with
quantities, earth quantities on cut and fill for different
options and creating rendering image and documents.
 Roche, Shanghai (Suzhou) – involved in both bidding and
project stage, create videos like construction sequence,
installation clips and images for bid reports. Project stage –
setting BIM direction, creating guidelines for execution
plan and assign manpower etc.

3.  ABB, Shanghai (Xiamen) – This is an full BIM project
that require all consultants and contractors to implement
BIM as their main focus, he was appointed as the main
BIM lead to oversee BIM progress, giving BIM directions
and creating guidelines to ensure all discipline to follows
BIM standard. Clash detections, coordination meetings,
drawings review are some of the main focus to create a
clash free environment for construction, ensure smooth
work-flow from design stage down to construction and as
built stage.
 AstraZeneca CDC, Shanghai (Wuxi) – involved in main
BIM lead role on giving BIM direction, creating guidelines
and review work progress for both BIM implementer and
sub-contractors, creating full BIM introduction video of
AZ on this project.

 NTU CLT Sports Hall bid, Singapore – involved in
developing CLT (timber) model, providing quantities for
QS to cost the entire project.
 Changi General Hospital bid, Singapore – He modelled
detail 3D model for full QS quantity, construction
sequence, using the models to create videos that highlight
the whole BIM capabilities.
 Project Easy bid, Singapore – Involved in bid stage,
modelled both architectural and structural models for
construction sequence and created video and images for
bid report.
 INSEAD, Singapore – He involved Revit modeling work
for Structure and architecture, updating changes from
design. Coordinating Mechanical, electrical and plumbing
to produce clash free model, export reposts for QS quantity
take off, BIM training and creating safety escape route
using 3D model
 MND Fitout, Singapore – Revit modeling work for
architecture, façade, structure, Mechanical, electrical and

BIM Modeler
 ARUP Singapore
 Singapore Sports Hub – High profile project in
Singapore, with multi-discipline and international team
involved in building the model. The model consists of
Singapore’s new National Stadium, Multi-purpose indoor
arena, Retail, Office, Car park, museum and other
facilities. Deyuan was involved in setting up SSH files,
modelling, detailing for both steel and concrete and
collaborating with t different discipline’s models for clash
detection
SSH is our first project to implement Revit server, which
has a great advantage on sharing and collaborating using
our central file to other areas. Work-sets are used to divide
the levels for individuals to work on. Deyuan has also
worked on advanced scheduling for beams using export
function to input beam rebar to the element itself
 MBS – Modeling of Helix Bridge and Interesting piece of
work collaborated with Juan Maier, using Benlty GC for
roof geometry and applies beam sizes direct to the
geometry. When the geometry changes shape, members
will follow, cutting down time for drafter to re-model
 Create Campus NUS – Campus for research excellence
and technological enterprise in NUS. Deyuan was the main
lead and setting up the entire BIM model, modelling,
drafting of details and maintaining updates on changes
 Fusionopolis 4- New Erection of 9 storey business park
development with 2 basement car park.
Involved in setting up Revit model, modelling, drafting of
floor plans and details drawings. Main challenge was
sloped level 1 to level 2, advanced Revit families were
used for it, and extra parameters are applied to this project
 Eilot Road Condominium – Deyuan’s first Revit project,
a condominium with 8 blocks of 5 storey housing
development with attic, basement car park and swimming
pool. This project was fully modelled using Revit,
customized families were made to suit construction
sequence

5.  MRT Thomson Line 7 station(CSD) – Structure and
M&E services modeling in Revit, coordination work with
external contractor and modeling for final BIM model,
clash detection and LTA coordination for submission

In Arup for 5 years, handled high profile BIM projects. During this
time I have gained wide experience on a range of high profile BIM
projects with colleagues from round the world, developing skills in
various software packages. And I am also an active member of
Singapore Revit user group, AUGI.

square residential. Mainly handle checks on
construction accuracy with RE, understanding
construction sequence, Coordination with architects

INTERSTS
I love dogs and I am a certified dog handler. I have trained dogs (and their
owner) in obedience and some stunts/tricks. I like travelling around to
appreciate buildings in different cities, love photography to capture
moments of life in different places around the world. I also like to draw –
portraits, still life, face, wall paintings (murals).
In my free time I do sports like rollerblading, ice-skating, cycling,
swimming, gym and jogging. I also do some special sports like stick-
walking.
