8. Cheap Rides That Are Not Taxis
Make sure you have alternative options to get around the city. With over 100,000 Dreamforce
attendees, it might be challenging to catch a cab – especially when you’re all in the same place.
Uber, a private driver smartphone
app, is a good cab service
option that’s readily available.
Make sure to set it up in advance.
The Lyft smartphone app
offers similar services to Uber.
Don’t forget to fist bump
your driver when entering
and exiting the vehicle.
The Sidecar smartphone will
get you to and from the event.
Although it’s not required,
tipping your driver is always
good etiquette.
Flywheel has allied with
numerous Taxi services in
San Francisco to assist people
in hailing a cab straight from
their mobile device.
Each of these
services is designed
for easy access via
your mobile device.
9. Traveling To and From the Airport
Need a lift? Here’s a few handy options to get from SFO or OAK to downtown San Francisco.
Salesforce has partnered with Avis and Budget to secure special rates for Dreamforce.
Make sure to book a reservation in advance to use the discount.
