6. Idols made of two different thing Idols made of mud First the sculptors made a basic structure of wood and wheat grass. Then they put jute bags so that it helped in the drying of mud. Then they applied mud(Punekimatti) on it and also applied clay. Then they painted it with eco friendly colours. Idols made of plaster of paris The sculptors used moulds for designing the idols. They applied oil and coated it with rubber sheets. They poured plaster of paris (POP) in the mould . Then they took out the idol and painted it with varnish . Finally, they painted it with plastic paints and oil paints which is harmful for our environment.
