“I AM the Pre-incarnate and Incarnate GOD; I AM the “HaShem” – the Name. The Being of
the Past, Present and Future; He who was, and is and is to come (Revelation 11:17; 1:18); I
Am Shem-ha-Meyuhad (the Extra-ordinary Name), I Am Shem-ha-Meforash (the
Distinguished Name), I Am the Name by which I been revealed; the Name that personifies
all my natures; the manifestation of my manifestation; the encapsulating Essence of all my
Being – the Mystery of my Majesty. I Am my Name Jesus. For so long I have sought your
understanding, for so long I have appealed to your reason O sons of man, I Am YHWH.
Those who kick against me get their limbs broken. I Am Alpha, I Am Omega. I Am the Eternal
Mystery. I Am the Name above every other. Only my Name provokes submission; at the
mention of my Name every knee must bow and all tongues confess that I Am the LORD OF
LORDS. I Am Ehyeh-Asher-Ehyeh; I will Be because I will Be”.
Read and be wise: the LORD who revealed Himself as YHWH in the Old Testament is
revealed as Yeshua (Jesus) in the New Testament. Jesus has the attributes of YHWH of the
Old Testament because He is YHWH, and He in fact claims to be YHWH because in John
8:56-59; He present Himself as the “I AM”. The Jewish elders understood that, by that claim
He was calling Himself ‘God the absolute Being, the Source of all life, without beginning or
end’, hence their anger at Him.
In Romans 10:9, Apostle Paul says, “If you confess with your mouth Yeshua as LORD you
shall be saved”. And in Romans 10:13, he backs up this assertion by quoting the Hebrew
Scriptures; “whoever will call upon the name of the LORD (YHWH) will be saved (Joel 2:32).
Calling GOD Jesus is the same as calling Him YHWH.
However, because the Name Jesus is His name in the New Covenant, it is preferred to any
other of His names because that is the name He has chosen to be known and recalled
throughout all generations (Exodus 3:14-15). It is also a litmus test of belief in and deference
to YHWH. Love for that name, Jesus is a receipt of salvation and submission to Almighty
GOD (I Corinthians 12:3).
This is the end to all controversies about the man Jesus, He is the Incarnate GOD (I Timothy
3:16).
If you have gotten to this point and you are still not on your knees, get down now; prostrate
before the owner of Heaven and Earth, beg for mercy. Bow down and worship Him (tell Him
you know who He is, what He can do and how He is). Cry for joy!! Sing His praise!!
As you do that, do you remember what He told the House of Israel in Deuteronomy 12:5?
Go on then and tear down every idolatrous grove in your life and get set to worship the
LORD the way has ordained. Even though He made the covenant with the tribes of the Earth
through Israel, everyone, including you, has a portion in Him. Note the sequence through
which He chose a place for His name: Abraham-Isaac-Israel-Judah-Jerusalem. That is the
5. place the LORD chose to put His name before He came down. When He came down, He
added Bethlehem and Nazareth – two seemingly unimportant towns in Israel but the LORD
was using these to teach an important lesson that every place was now holy before Him so
long as we tear off the idols of the flesh from our hearts ( John 4:20-21). So it shall remain
until we meet again in the New Jerusalem. Go on and make yourself a place for His name
with all confidence because He had chosen you to be a Temple for His Name.
You should be careful to enumerate all His names when in worship but never forget
to call Him Jesus! If you wonder how you can list and sign off your praise and
worship sessions with all His names, just use the most powerful signature in Heaven
and Earth – call Him Jesus, He’ll be satisfied!
Shalom!
