Trained staff to supportseven different products from differingmanufacturers (Epicor,Microsoftand Sage). This decision
was very beneficial as wecould providea one stop shop for clients.
Authored a manufacturingsoftware product(Tristone) with our development team and acquired a Dynamics NAV add-on
software from IBM for the meat industry.Travelled North America and Europe to build softwarepartners and contractor
relationshipsand after years of reasonablegrowth, sold the practiceto a Danish partner.
Competitive Strategy (Primary competitors were Deloitte and BDO)
Focused time to gain ‘co-opetition’ (cooperation plus competition) between Microsoft,Epicor and Sage even though the
licensingrequirements at the time dictated a singleproductenvironment.
Ensured Microsoft,Sage and Epicor had enough belief in our approach to continue to supportus in spite of carrying
multipleproducts.
Focused on presenting company strengths to clients rather than dwellingon competitor weaknesses.
Change Management Strategy
Addressed the market crash of 2008 with quick staff reductions.Microsoftchanged the entire market with their 50% price
reductions.
Divested the company of the Sage products to save on both cost and effort.
Implemented further staff reductions in 2014 as clientpurchasingpatterns changed.
Staff Management Strategy
Directed all policy and staffingdecisions and oversawthe creation of a comprehensive staff manual.As leader of the team,
