The Power of Meekness
Lessons from Moses
Synopsis: Moses was very meek. Learning that meek does not mean
weak, but strength under control; we learn that meekness in our lives
means that we are living like Christ, learning the Word, correcting
correctly, and answering for our hope.

Miriam and Aaron speak against Moses
Woman he married: Cushite
That woman, non-Israelite.
Jehovah spoken to us, too.
Moses thinks he’s so special.
“We have authority too”
V. 8: Jehovah: “Why not afraid to speak against?”
Jehovah was angry!
They were not merely gossiping, complaining, idle talk
It was sinful!

How do we tend to react to others who speak against us or our family?
Anger, hatred, lashing out, accusations
Defend wife against attacks
Denial, arguing
Hurt, wounded
Here is our struggle...
How do we react to unfair accusations; wicked people attacking us?
We need to be meek.
