Facebook is an online social networking service
Users must register before using the site, after
which they may create a personal profile, add other users as friends, exchange
messages, and receive automatic notifications when they update their profile.It
gradually added support for students at various other universities before it opened
to high-school students, and eventually to anyone aged 13 and over. Facebook
now allows anyone who claims to be at least 13 years old to become a registered
user of the website

PINTEREST:

Pinterest is a visual discovery tool that people
use to collect ideas for their different projects and interests. People create and share
collections (called “boards”) of visual bookmarks (called “Pins”) that they use to do
things like plan trips and projects, organize events or save articles and recipes.
Pinterest users can upload, save, sort and manage images, known as pins, and
other media content (e.g. videos and gifs) through collections known as pinboards.
Pinterest acts as a personalized media platform, whereby users' content and the
content of others can be browsed on the main page. Users can then save individual
pins to one of their own boards using the "Pin It" button, with Pinboards typically
organized by a central topic or theme.

YouTube is a video-sharing website. Unregistered users can
watch videos, and registered users can upload an unlimited
number of videos.

5. MOOC
COURSERA:https://www.coursera.org/
Coursera is a for-profit educational technology company offering
massive open online courses (MOOCs). Coursera works with
universities to make some of their courses available online, and
offers courses in physics,engineering,medicine etc. Each course
includes short video lectures on different topics and assignments
to be submitted, usually on a weekly basis.

edX:https://www.edx.org/
edX is a massive open online course(MOOC) platform. The
platform uses online learning software that uses interactive
experiences. Each week, a new learning sequence is released in
an edX course. The learning sequence is composed of short (an
average of 10 minutes each) videos interspersed with active
learning exercises where students can immediately practice the
concepts from the videos.

Flickr is an image hosting and video hosting website,
and web services suite. Flickr also enables users to organize
their photos into "sets", or collections of photos that fall under
the same heading. Sets can be displayed as a slideshow and
shared by embedding them in websites. However, sets are
more flexible than the traditional folder-based method of
organizing files, as one photo can belong to one set, many
sets, or none at all.

Curriki is an online, free, open education service.Curriki is
structured as a nonprofit organization to provide open
educational resources primarily in support of K12 education.Curricula and instructional materials are
available at the Curriki website to teachers, professional
educators, students, lifelong learners, and parents. The
majority of the resources on the Curriki site fall under a
Creative commons license.
