Get To Know San Isidro In Costa Rica
San Isidro is Southern Costa Rica's largest town and known as the fastest developing town in mexico.
Located 130km southeast of the country's capital San Jose, it will lead you approximately 3 hours
generating through the breath getting views of the panoramic mountains and valleys. The closest
coastal city is Dominical, that is 34km southwest.
It is a relaxed pleasant laid-back town on the Pan-American Highway at the base of the Talamanca
mountain tops in the Valley p El General by having an altitude of almost two ,000 feet or 600 meters.
At this altitude the environment is cooler during the days and can end up being even a little chilly at
night compared to the seaside temperatures only 45 minutes drive away.
San Isidro or Perez Zeledon, that is its municipal name and also the name the actual locals use
includes a main Central sq. Or Parque main that has recently been renovated and at one end of this
has a freshly restored church.
The surrounding area is agricultural in a fertile valley, which has a great climate for fruit plantations,

there are some good international and local restaurants. There is a decent nightlife at the weekends
that can be fun with a few good pubs and discos.
The impressive Cordillera Talamanca towers over this particular region with it is highest point the
