place to protect Tyco’s interests and key deliverable. This includes active pursuit of cost
improvements, inventory reductions, and supply strategy changes. Set up purchasing
parameters within Tyco’s MRP system for all assigned commodities, or projects, to
insure proper ordering and planning functions are being performed.
Critical analysis of the supply environment, operational planning, inventory movement,
and system configurations to identify and target improvement opportunities. Then
manage opportunities through validation and justification phases. If approved, implement
according to strategy and direction set.
Manage inventory investment and changes required in support of improvements
identified. Implement plans with the supply base to meet inventory targets. Work closely
with Strategic Procurement Group to rationalize supply base to meet Integrated Supply
Chain objectives.
Liaison between engineering, manufacturing, and vendor base in coordination of
engineering changes. Insures timely adjustments to purchasing documentation to insure
