Profile: History of my life is long in the business field. No I don’t have a degree
in anything but life time experience of owning a business for 35 years. It hasn’t
ever been easy but always a challenge. Never wealthy but work on integrity &
skills. OJT, research, tax advisor, investor, AP, AR, advertising, management of
unskilled labor, schedules & budgeting for winters off. I will be what you are
looking for but in an unusual way, creative, honest, teamwork & industrious!
Experience: Small business owning involves many aspects as a large corporation such as Laclede Gas.
Though on a diminutive scale, we both request the same outcome, the gladsome customer. Proving yourself to
the customer requires a technique like no other; presenting ones self in a pleasing honest way, my work
reflects professionalism at all times. While working the American Housing Survey with the U.S. Census, I had to
convey this honesty & confidentiality, it was the upmost importance to the homeowner to confide in personal,
financial, homeowner details. The resident of the unit had to have basic trust, even thought it was the
government. As an RN for 25 years, HIPA laws are forefront, I represented a hospital, behavioral health, prison,
Chrysler Corp., home health, geriatrics & the sick & injured of my neighborhood. It takes confidence & high
levels of skills. Elongated experience, advertising, writing inspection letters & human assessments is customer
service. Phone conversations; I can ease an irate consumer into a kitten by listening, then “How can I help you
resolve this problem” BBB arbitration takes guts to turn two apposing views to see the differences.

Personal Accomplishments: Never having a lawsuit against your work in 35 years is a feat in
itself. No debt business meaning I have no debt other than monthly bills, I have no outstanding
customer debt because of professional honesty & integrity add a good personality for sales and
ability to pick out customers that I want to work with. Downsized business to selling product
only. My husband & partner passed away last December; business is currently for sale.
Being on a Board of Directors for a small CAH (Critical Access Hospital) has taught me the in &
outs hospital billing, Medicare & Medicaid, watchful eye on the CEO, watching this hospital grow
into an individual clinics, out patient, in patient, hospitalist, CEO changes, AP, AR, for the past
12 years. Web design, ad placements, creative juices constantly flowing. I do all my own taxes
without audit since 1982. Part of many teams throughout my working career. No ‘I’ in team
