Cydcor Medals in 10 Events During the Ventura County Corporate Games
Cydcor, two-time previous winner of the JD Probasco Spirit Award, excels at the games
WESTLAKE VILLAGE, CA (March 20, 2013) - Cydcor, the leading provider of professional in-
person sales teams, announced that they participated in 12 events and medaled in 10 different
individual events in the Ventura County Corporate Games. It was Cydcor’s fourth year
participating in the games.
It was the first year that Cydcor also won the overall points and winner’s trophy for the entire
Division C competition. In 2011, Cydcor won the JD Probasco award, which honors one company
in each division that displayed a high level of team spirit and commitment to community service.
In addition, it was the first time that Cydcor also incorporated fundraising for Operation Smile, a
children’s medical charity, into the games by selling water, having food trucks donate a portion
of what they sold, having executives donating for each medal one, holding a cornhole
tournament, and hosting raffles. Last year, Cydcor and its network of independently-owned
sales offices raised enough to fund a medical mission to Rio de Janeiro and are already on track
to fund two more medical missions.
“We had the biggest and most diverse participation ever this year,” said Chief Operating Officer
Vera Quinn. “There were many memorable moments – our basketball team won each game by
an average of 34 points, mini golf got the gold for the second straight year, and we won our first
gold in bowling and dodgeball. I’m so impressed by our team members and their passion for the
games; it shows how committed we are to our goals and also our community. Our passion for
the games reflects our culture of giving back and initiative taken to bring fundraising for
Operation Smile to the games.”

Cydcor team members also raised a total of $750 for Operation Smile; Cydcor executives
donated $100 for each gold, $50 for each silver, and $25 for each medal that was won.
