Dear Parents/Caregivers
Excitement is mounting as countdown begins in
earnest for our School Fair on Saturday 29 March
at 11am. Mrs Ferris and Mrs Jenner have been
leading the organisation of the fair ably supported
by our Parent Support Group. If you can spare even
an hour on the day it would be very much
appreciated so just return the form on the
newsletter to the School Office.
Our Senior students had a wonderful week up at
Borland Lodge. I was lucky enough to get to go up
there and witness the magnificent time they were
having. The activities included, rafting, caving,
leadership activities, stoat trapping, walking and
tenting.
Finally, we are all looking forward to the Southland
Athletics on Saturday 22 March. We have some
exceptional athletes at the School who will be
competing against the very best that Southland
schools have. I know many will do well with the
performances, times and distances that I have seen
over the past month. Mark the date in your diaries.
Thank you for the very high attendance at the Goal
Setting Interviews. We value your input into your
child’s schooling and find the Interviews very
productive and a great way of building and
sustaining positive home-school relationships.
Have a great fortnight.
Regards,
Wendy Ryan
Principal
