1. Box out texts for my magazine.
For this part of my planning work, I have been asked to write down the text for my
box outs.
For those of you who don’t know, box outs are the basically pull quotes.
So when people start to read to read my magazine article, they will notice large boxes
that are positioned carefully on the pages. In these boxes will be quotes that are pulled
out from the article because they are interesting, iconic, clever, and funny or
something that may entice the reader to look further into the magazine and read more
of the article. A lot of these quotes will be said by the band members themselves, but
there are also a couple of quotes from “Celebrities” who have an opinion on the band
itself.
Below are the box outs that I am considering to use in my magazine article.
“It was the hardest thing I ever
had to do – and all I was doing

“A law against

“My guitar is my lifelong
companion. Where I go, it goes.
And where it goes, I go”.
“This is the place that it all began for us.
Standing out on the stage, looking at an empty

nothing like it and one day, we shall return”.
“There have been so many sleepless nights of writing
songs instead of revising and enhancing our abilities so
that if the dream did become reality, we would be
ready to take it by the horns and ride the whole way
smoothly.”
“We are not artists, we are erntrepeunuers. Music died a
long time ago and we want to be the people to save it.
