Why is Blue River a good place to explore for
tantalum and niobium rich carbonatites?
Most importantly, the region provided
the right kind of geological setting for a
carbonatite to have formed 350 million
years ago. But equally important, British
Columbia and Canada have stable
political environments with a stable rule
of law. These are serious considerations
for investors and buyers of tantalum and
niobium who seek long-term contracts
and secure sources of supply.
