That means there are 365
different birthdays!
• In a leap year, which is every 4
years, there are 366 days.
• People who are born on
February 29th can celebrate
their birthday on February 28th
or March 1st, unless it is a leap
year.

3. Geometry
• Birthday Cakes can come in all
different sizes and shapes. They can be
rectangles, squares, and circles.
• A piece cut out of a circular cake is a
triangle.
• A piece cut out of a rectangle cake or
a square cake can be both square and
rectangle.
• Birthday cakes are symmetrical.
• Birthday party hats are cone shaped

4. Baking a Birthday Cake
• Ingredients
• 3 cups all-purpose flour
• 2 cups white sugar
• 5/8 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
• 1 teaspoon salt
• 2 teaspoons baking soda
• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
• 2 cups cold water
• 2 teaspoons distilled white vinegar
• 2/3 cup vegetable oil
• Directions
• Mix all ingredients right in a 9 x 13 inch pan.
• Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 35 minutes. Remove
from oven and cool. Frost with your favorite frosting.

• Players take a chance of falling with each movement to a
new spot.

8. Pizza at Birthday Parties
• Pizza is a commonly eaten food
at birthday parties.
• A pizza is circular and is
commonly divided into 8
triangular slices. When you
divide the pizza this way, each
person receives 1/8 of the
pizza.
• If you eat 4 slices of the pizza, it
is equivalent to eating ½ of the
entire pizza.

9. Temperatures for Birthday Food
• A birthday cake is baked at 350
degrees.
• A pizza is baked at 400
degrees.
• After opening icing, the left
overs can be stored in the
