Talking points to the students:
Students, parents and community members will be
approaching your table and asking you questions!
We have assignments planned for our students and
they will have a list of questions (we will be
providing you with at a later date) to ask you. You
should not be accepting resumes! This is not a
Job Fair. The purpose of the event is
informative. Therefore, here are some great
points to cover for display visitors:
 Pathway opportunities (for example: career opportunities in your
industry/profession that are available to university graduates, college
graduates, apprenticeship participants and individuals who go directly
from school to work)
 Educational requirements for each pathway
 Future outlook / growth in your industry
 Salary ranges
 Working Conditions (hours, environments, variety, etc.)
 Opportunities for personal career growth and change in your industry.
