in high-end gîtes.
A few metres from the château or at the gates to the domain, for a weekend or a week, Chambord
offers future visitors the chance to stay in the heart of an exceptional UNESCO World Heritage
site.
Two locations to discover the many faces of Chambord
The **** gîtes "Cerf" (Stag) and "Salamandre" (Salamander), are situated in what is known as
(The Resistants), just 200 metres from the château. In the heart of this historic
house, Chambord offers luxury accommodation, for a holiday with family or friends. Remarkably
comfortable, with sleek design, and the joy of a large private garden, these gîtes offer guests the
chance to relax in the heart of the domain. Each gîte can accommodate up to eight people.
With its location at the entrance on the edge of forest, a few metres from
the first wild animal observation towers, the *** gîte La Ferme de la Gabillière offers a rare
proximity to nature. This gîte also boasts a private garden and can accommodate up to six people
on the ground floor level in a cosy, rural, atmosphere.

"Les Réfractaires": Cerf” and Salamandre” **** gîtes
Accommodation capacity: eight people per gîte
Each gîte comprises:
 On the ground floor: an entrance hall, a sitting room (with wide-screen LCD TV), a
dining room, a fully-equipped kitchen (washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher,
fridge, freezer, microwave, electric hob and oven), a bathroom (double sink), toilets.
 On the first floor: 4 bedrooms (two bedrooms with divisible twins beds and two rooms
with king-size double beds that are non-divisible), with cupboards, an iron and ironing
board, shower room (double sink) and toilets.
 An enclosed private garden
 Outside parking area for several cars
 A secure bicycle garage
 Garden furniture, BBQ, outdoor games
 Shared central heating

The gîte comprises:
 A sitting room (with wide-screen LCD TV), a dining room, a fully-equipped fitted
kitchen (dishwasher, fridge-freezer, electric hob, combination oven, toaster, kettle), a
large main bedroom (king-size double bed that is non-divisible), separate bathroom and
toilet, a bedroom with a non-divisible double bed, one bedroom with divisible twin
beds with shower room and toilets.
